We are a week away from the start of Christmas Celebrations and Santa’s across the country are gearing up for that time of year again. Only this year at the top of their priority “list’s” are themselves, Kris Kringle. In addition to carrying tons of Purell, this year Santa is asking for help to cut the line and is giving himself a gift before anyone else, the H1N1 Swine Flu Shot. It’s crazy that I have to even give a second thought about taking Isabella to see Santa the year she will actually either enjoy it or run for her life. haha With the traffic of Santa visitors received on a annual basis, Santa’s are so concerned about this flu that The Amalgamated Order of Real Bearded Santa’s recently featured a seminar here in Philadelphia. Recent studies suggests that obesity can increase complications and even cause death due to this infection. The Real Bearded Santa’s organization has suggested that all Santa’s take precautions by using hand sanitizer and taking vitamins to boost their immune systems. They do not want any child to go without seeing Santa but it’s not worth taking the risk of infecting Santa or other children, stated Nicholas Trolli, President of The Real Bearded Santa’s. If your Child has the Swine Flu, Contact the Real Bearded Santa Organization and they will do their best to get Santa to make a “early” home visit.
