Bright Starts, a parent company of Kids II, is one of the worlds fastest growing companies known for products that combine comfort with innovative technology. Their products are sold in retailers nationwide and they just came out with a new line called “The InGenuity Collection”.
Bright Starts has invited me to be a part of their “14 Days of Laughter” Campaign. This campaign is to initiate moms to laugh, smile and share your funny stories with others about your kids. Who doesn’t have to many to share!?!?! As mentioned in a earlier post, Bright Starts is working with 14 mommy blogger’s (me being one of them) to provide product reviews and giveaways for 14 days. Get it “14 Days of Laughter”. I’m just loving the InGenuity Playard from their New Collection. This Playard is a pretty ingenious invention designed for any child birth and up and that weighs up to 30 lbs. Convenience for travel, styling for home, The InGenuity Playard is designed with the One Less Step folding system for the easiest portability and beautiful fabric styling to complement your home decor. But the patented Sleep Easy feature in the bassinet makes this Playard a stand-out in offering the most comfortable and healthy sleep for your baby. The bassinet mattress can be adjusted to a slightly inclined sleeping position or can remain flat. It’s really easy to set up and take apart and comes with wheels that make it very easy to move around. When collapsed, it’s about 12 inches wide by a 4ft high, and fits into the included travel bag which has a built in handle.

i took my 2 daughter to NYC to see the sightts. my youngest did not want to leave the hotel room. It had a full length mirror and she want to watch herself mad faces dance you get the picture.
I have my grandchildren for the next couple of days. This is day one and I am exhausted. Their parents owe me big. i would trade this time for anything big.
My girls made up words or phases if they didn’t have the right ones. My oldest was about 4 when she got a virus for the first time. She ran into the bd yelling Mommy, Mommy I’m swallowing up.
my daugheter is expecting #6 so Her 9 and 7 year old have made hooded towels for baby’s bath. In a couple of weeks we will make headbands. (its a girl). these are the things memories are made o
After a particularly chaotic day (5 brothers and sisters and one on the way)my 6 years old grandson had a melt down. Crying is says, I want to go to Nana’s house. Mom says why. He says because she is boring.
Several years ago my now 12 year old grandson while shopping asked his mother for a particular kind of kids cereal ( with lots of sugar). Mom said no. He says thats OK I’ll ask Nana she buys every thing. Doesn’t your heart just melt.
As much as I loved raising my own kids having Grandhildren is the best.
I have for all their lives taken my grandhildren to have their hair cut (one at a time). I have been sick so last weekend my daughter too her 10 year old to his cut. She beautician asked him how he wanted it cut and after she and my daughter gave him many options he said “Call Nana she knows what I like.” Doesn’t your heart just melt.
My little girl always stops crying or fussing and smiles when I call her my little “Corn Flake”. When she was born I thought she smelled like cereal,so the nick name stuck..lol

Making funny airplane noises usually cheers up my little guy. He has also learned to make them too…while I am feeding him
My LO is not here yet. I was a nanny to my cousins kids and became “Diaper Meg” on countless occasions to cheer up the littlest. I would put a *clean* diaper on my head to chase Nollie and his tears away. He loved it! .. thank god I am already married..

My son was crying because he did not want to take a bath, so I got a can of shaving cream out of the vanity and gave myself a mustache and beard. Needless to say he wanted one too, so into the tub he went laughing all the way, HO HO HO! katklaw777 at yahoo dot com
