Dr. Seuss books were my all time favorite as a kid and now I love reading them to Isabella. Theodor Seuss Geisel, born March 2, 1904 was the Author of these famous books we all love so much! Also know as Author, Cartoonist, Animator, he published over 60 children books and were often characterized by imaginative characters and rhyme. He has made such a positive yet creative impact with these books they are sure to be ones we will never forget. I will be sure to help pass these books down through my children in hopes they will keep the Seuss reading alive!
Read Across America is an initiative on reading created by the National Education Association. One part of the project is National Read Across America Day, an observance in the United States held on March 2, the birthday of Dr. Seuss.
