When I started Isabella on solids she loved eating with a fork or spoon.   It was then when she started to mimic every move we made.  After lots of practice she is eating with a fork and spoon just fine but wish I had these Little Grips to start her out.  Designed just for toddlers, these easy to grip utensils are great for beginners trying to eat like a gentlemen or lady at the dinner table.  I received a set of these to review with Isabella and she loves them.  After using them for a couple of weeks,  I have noticed a huge improvement while she is eating her applesauce or cereal.  She always has a problem with making a huge mess while eating these foods (sometimes they never even make her mouth without falling on the floor) and had a much easier time while eating with the Little Grips spoon.  Features include a no choke safety design, an ambidextrous product, reduce clean up and independently creating confidence and self-esteem for your little guy or gal.   The only negatives (in my opinion) about this product is that, as of right now,  it can only be found online and there are no other color choices.    The product is not sold in stores and can only be purchased online at Toddlerutensils.com.  Although a few negatives, Little Grips are sealed with approval by Baby & Momma!

Happy 40th Birthday, Earth Day! Not that we don’t on most days but today the Bucci’s are making a extra, extra effort to help save our Earth.  Most people are make the effort to save our Earth due to the evidence that the decisions we have made, and continue to make, are damaging the air we breathe and the land we live on. If I raise Isabella with the habits of living “green”, she will most likely follow in our footsteps to live a green life.

Most of these efforts we, Anthony, Isabella and I, are making to be Green I know a lot of others are too.  If your not, take a look at this list and try to make a effort.  This is only helping our future generations!

• Start using re-usable grocery bags instead of plastic.  It’s so easy and believe it or not, I have found groceries a lot easier to carry.
• Cut your shower time in half.  I use to love standing in the hot shower to wake me up in the morning. Now I make a effort to be in and out!
• Save stained or clothes you are going to throw away as your cleaning cloth. I have a full basket now!
• Ask your utility provider if they offer Buying green power
• Use rechargeable batteries.  Duracell has a full line of these.
• Switch to non toxic cleaners.  Toxic cleaners are not good if you have children in the house.  We love Seventh Generation products
• Turn off the water while brushing your teeth.  Isabella is still getting the hang of this. She just wants the water to run :/
• Use a water filter for your tap instead of buying bottled and use a reusable, aluminum, water bottle.
• Check out hand me down and second hands stores.  I’m a huge fan of these.  She grows out of them so quickly and I LOVE Craigslist!
• If you could walk or ride your bike somewhere, try to do so.  If I only have a few groceries to pick up, we will walk to our local grocery store.
• When you leave your house, make sure all the lights and appliances are unplugged. This will not only help your payments go down but help save the environment
• Do it yourself home energy savers
• I wash all my clothes in cold water instead of hot.  This will also prevent your color from running
• We don’t have all but have switch a bunch of our light bulbs to CFL’s.
• I learned when buying our new TV, anything with Energy Star on it will help save a ton on energy

I personally have a strong love for the taste of Dunkin Donuts but have a convenient Starbucks on my block that I can walk to.  So I’m not sure which cup of “Joe-Momma” that makes me.  Does that make me a Starbucks Mommy because I drink it more often just due to the convenience factor or a DD Mommy because, if they were right next to one another, I would buy a DD coffee. Hmmm…I’m gonna say a DD-Momma!  I would love to know what Momma you are and why.  How many cups it takes you to keep your day going until your head hits the pillow?  Please tell!

After arrival our waitress explained that Fridays and Saturdays are their Grand Tasting menu.  Which basically means your food choices are in the hands of the Chef for the night. I was a little nervous because I am not a foodie like my husband but thought with Chef Marc Vetri’s reputation,  I need to give it a try.   With six months to a year waiting list (Anthony pulled a lot of strings) I would be a dummy to pass this tasting opportunity up.  Anthony was also very excited to bring me here and I was more than impressed with his plans for the night.  First impression, Our Waitress and Wine Steward were very welcoming along with the rest of the staff.  This place was so romantic!

But now to why this place is so popular and has such great reputation, The Food!  Is there a better word than Spectacular?  I ate food I never thought I would eat.  Sweet Onion Crepe, Baby Goat with Soft Polenta, Rabbi with Fava Beans and Morels, just to name a few and I could go on and on!  They were all so good! My favorites were the Squid & Artichoke Calette, Homemade Charcuterie and Spinach Gnocchi (pictured above),  I wanted more!   If your looking for a nice romantic night out with your significant other or have a special occasion coming up, I recommend Vetri Ristorante.  Five Stars from Baby-Momma and Baby-Daddy! lol

If this doesn’t stop you from hitting the McDonald’s drive through while getting your children lunch or dinner…I don’t know what will.  A mother took a picture of a kids meal she picked up the day she bought it and then again 12 months later.  See much of a difference? Not much! I am sick to my stomach just looking at this :/ Read more here!

Luckily last year the first day of Spring fell on a day during the week. I’m sure with this year falling on a Saturday….the lines are going to be Ridiculous!!!

I have NEVER tasted a single piece of candy better than these milk chocolate eggs.  Coated in a thin crisp candy shell with a matte finish and solid milk chocolate center that quickly melts in your mouth. Since 1988 they have been manufactured by Hershey Foods Corporation under license from Cadbury Ltd.  After doing some research I also just found out that Canada started selling these year round in 2009.  Lucky Canadians!  Should I even make a wish that the we follows in their footsteps?  I don’t know if that’s such a good idea.  Although I love these eggs, I love them so much because I can only get them for about a two month span.  I never get sick of them this way.  If you haven’t tried these yet, I recommend that you do.  If you don’t like them, yippee!
