I am constantly lugging out my Dyson vacuum and cleaning up after Isabella. From Peanuts to fruit snacks I swear she has a hole in her mouth! After receiving this Dyson DC31 in the mail to review I swear I wish I had a belt to attach this new gadget to my hip because I would seriously take it everywhere. It a great size and works great! I was concerned on whether it would pick up the heavy stuff I’m always cleaning up but as you can see in my video, with the dual power mode option it has a very powerful suction picks up everything I need it to.

Attachments include a brush, lint brush and a extension attachment for those hard to reach places like underneath my couch. I also love how portable this was when I was cleaning my SUV. Isabella gets really antsy when I’m at the car was so this was perfect for vacuuming the car at home. The Dyson Handheld DC31 is stamped with Approval by Baby-Momma!

YIPPEE!!!

I will pay millions to get out of this contract and have the iphone with another company. I actually had Verizon for years prior to me getting married (the biz pays for our phones) and NEVER eva eva had a problem with the service. And if something would ever happen with my phone, I could go to any Verizon store and buy or replace my old phone. At&t makes you find a branch and travel all over the world! (not really but they don’t make it easy…had to do it twice! grrr!)

Anyhow…check out my video with Guest Host, My husband “aka” Baby-Daddy of the iphone 4g. Great features, amazing guality and it’s honestly a mini mac in your hand. Love it!

Yes, I now have magic carpets! From top to bottom floors I got carpet cleaning happy after seeing how well this cleaner worked. Anywho, they are spic and span and think I now have a deep cleaning addiction and new love of my life. Sorry husby!

I have been doing research for weeks on bed rails with the thoughts of switching Isabella’s crib to a toddler bed when she turns 2. After stumbling upon Magic Bumpers, I am thrilled to say Isabella’s last few nights in a “big girl” bed have been great! Magic Bumpers are a firm foam wedge designed to go under the fitted sheet as a safer and easier alternative to traditional bed rails. No space between the bed rail or bed and no assembly. Most importantly, they fit ANY bed! Just cut or add any length of your choice.

When researching, I was looking for a rail that was going to be easy and great for me to pack in a bag for our weekends down the shore during the summer. THESE ARE AWESOME! For easier packing and handling these bumpers are cut in half so you can just place them in a round or square duffel bag.

Magic Bumpers works best when placed directly on top of the mattress with all other bedding (fitted sheet or mattress cover) should go over the bumper. This will minimize any movement of the bumper. Magic Bumpers can also be used for Infant Co-Sleeping (L-Shape or U-Shape) or as a Bed Divider. Magic Bumpers have been a success in helping our transition to a “big girl bed” and are Stamped with Approval by Baby & Momma!

After a couple of hours of tests being run, they came back negative. They just kept giving us the run around and nobody seems to know what it was. Our last appointment I said to our Ped. “Please don’t take this personally, but if it comes back we are going straight to our dermatologist”. Of course he did take offense and said, they are just going to say the same thing.

We then try to think of what I have changed that could have caused this blistering? The only thing I have switched/changed in her routine were her diapers. We started to use White Cloud Training pants. After having the feeling these were the Issue, I stopped using them. We have thankfully not been back to the doctors about this concern for about 3 weeks. But, I am appalled by what I am hearing from other moms having the same issue as me with Pampers Dry Max. Although, I’ve never used these diapers I am wondering if both companies are using something in these diapers to cause this rash. If you take a look at these two facebook pages, Pampers bring back OLD CRUISER/SWADDLERS AND Boycott New Pampers, there are a TON of complaints. So many I truly feel there should be a recall!!!! I am shocked at some of the responses I am hearing that moms have heard from P&G after complaining.

I am also wondering if any other moms are having this problem with White Cloud diapers. We use Target Brand Diapers for regular use but when I started to Potty train I was using Pull-ups. We were going through them so fast, I then switched to Whitle Cloud because of the cost. I really feel these diapers were what was causing the blister like rash and even told my Pediatrician the same. The pictures on this facebook page are EXACTLY what Isabella’s rashes looked like. When describing them to people and our Pediatrician, we said they were like open blisters that formed overnight. I don’t want this to happen to any more babies and we need to find a way to fix this issue. Our poor children should not being going through such pain and after weeks of going to our Pediatrician and them giving us the run around telling us that Isabella’s AWEFUL rash is eczema, I have come across these facebook pages and articles about Pampers Dry Max Diapers causing what moms are calling “Chemical Burns”. We need to figure this out. Please let me know or comment below if anyone else if having this concern too. I really don’t know what to do but with this many complaints and issues of the same occurrence, something needs to be done!

I really don’t know how to start this post without sounding hypocritical but do any other moms think these outfits are a little to revealing for this age? The reason why I sound hypocritical is because we wore outfits like this when cheering in the NFL. I now understand why my family and other families of my former teammates freaked out when our calendars were revealed or saw what we wore on the field.

I am going to be honest, I was NOT modest at all!!! I didn’t care what other people thought and how I was perceived. I still don’t now. I know who I am as a person and that’s all that mattered to me. If people thought different, they obviously didn’t know me. BUT It’s a complete different ball game now that I’m a mom. I think a lot different with everything! I don’t want Isabella to dress like that and will not let it happen when she lives under my roof. All of my stuff will be in a locked box until she is 25! I regret nothing and experienced a ton….. 24 young professional living in a big city and was a adult.

The big questions here is where do you stop and draw the line with your kids. I really have no idea and have not reached that point yet. I say now I would never let my daughter wear this outfit but then 8 years from now (i’m guessing these girls are around the age of 10 :/) when she’s involved in dance, how do you tell the instructor, or whoever decided on these outfits, that your daughter will not be preforming in this routine because of the outfits. Assuming, they are not all this revealing.

All my Cheerleader buddies who either have a background in dance or experienced this with me please comment and let me know your thoughts. Having a background in dance I would love to know if this is normal. Is this what I should expect if Isabella is going to get involved in dance? Also, if your a mom and experiencing this. I want to know!!! I am seriously torn here. Everyone has their own opinions and this post could get very controversial but I am interested in hearing others thoughts on this. For those of you who knew me before becoming a mom, you know how much fun I liked to have and most would think I would care less about my daughter wearing something like this but that’s not the case. I want Isabella to be respected and get attention for her accomplishments and brain, not her beauty and for what she’s wearing.

**Note: These girls are fantastic dancers. I wish I had half the dancing skills they do! AMAZING!

Just to name a few. Growing up I dealt with this at one point in my life, 8th grade. It was horrible! I had colored my hair red and everyone called me Big Red. My mom had very little money for clothes and I got made fun of for having last seasons sneakers. It was sad looking back how kids acted toward me and others. BUT looking at the now, most of those, now, adults are doing nothing with their life’s. The question I ask myself is, how did I overcome this bullying and actually have confidence. A big part of my life (or I should say the only thing in my life at that time) was sports. I played Softball, Tennis, Field Hockey (for a year because of conflicting sports) and cheered for both Football and Basketball. I was very involved with school activities but who is to say Isabella will be the same way? What if she isn’t a athlete or doesn’t want to be as involved. How do I teach her that being confident and true to herself is far more important than anything material or how she looks. And better yet, not care about what other people/kids think. I am going to do my best for now but only time will tell.

Healthy Self Esteem will help children handle conflicts easier and resist negative pressure. How do we teach our children to be their own person and not a follower. How do we inspire our children to have this confidence with everything we are surrounded by in the 21st century? Dove’s Real Beauty Campaign features real women, not models, advertising Dove’s firming cream. The advertisements focus on promoting real, natural beauty, in an effort to offset the unrealistically thin and unhealthy archetypal images associated with modeling. I know Isabella is only two years old but I’m going to do my best to teach her what really matters in life. Take a look here to learn more about this campaign and see how you can make a difference!

This video Breaks my heart and is more realistic then ever in regards to plastic surgery in any form. To watch more of these amazing videos…click here!
