Free Rita’s Water Ice!

I was shocked when going to school in Florida and then to follow my job after college headquartered in Dallas and nobody knew what Water Ice was. REALLY!?!?!? Were the first words out of my mouth. If it would stay frozen would have loved to ship a whole gallon down for them to get just a taste. And how is it possible considering it’s warm in those states for most of the year. Started by Philadelphia Fire Fighter Bob Tumolo in 1984. Today there are over 500 locations, in 17 states and in the District of Columbia. Rita’s traditionally gives out a free Regular size water ice on the first day of Spring. TODAY IS THAT DAY!!!! If you have a Rita’s close by….make sure to stop by and get your FREE water ice.

Take a look at these girls touring the Water Ice locations around the Philadelphia Area. You can never get enough Rita’s Water Ice!!! Yummy! Luckily last year the first day of Spring fell on a day during the week. I’m sure with this year falling on a Saturday….the lines are going to be Ridiculous!!!

AT&T Service Review

Around the time of me having Isabella is when we decided that I was going to do the whole Stay At Home Mom thing. With that said, all the perks of having a good job goes out the window, Phone being one of them. My old company had service with Verizon and they were AMAZING! I never had a problem with the phones or service. No dropped calls and everything was great! This is a situation where I feel you don’t appreciate what you have until you loose it. Thankfully, I can get back what was good(after my contract is up!! :/). While on a Pull-Ups conference call the other day, I dropped a call! It couldn’t have been a worse time to drop a call. I’m glad I only had one dropped call during this hour call but there have been times where I have had 2 or 3 drops on one call. It’s ridiculous and there’s nothing I can do about it until my contract is up. I just had to blog about their service because of how bad it really is. All of my close friends and family that talk with me on the phone with me would agree! AT&T service is AWFUL! There is not a day that goes by that I don’t drop a call! If I had the mula to pay and get out of this contract I would. My husband has the IPhone, has the same problem and no phone is that great to keep a service like this. I NEVER had this problem with Verizon and cannot wait to go back! I have had a couple friends on facebook ask for opinions on whether to get the IPhone. Yea, the phone is good but what good is it with horrible service!?!?! Ugh…can this next year go any faster?? Ohhh, and their commercials are completely contradicting!!! I’m usually the queit one waiting for a response or end up talking to myself for a little while until I realized the call has been dropped. Boo on AT&T and NOT Sealed with Approval by Baby-Momma!

One Fish Two Fish Old Fish New Fish Review

While driving to visit my husband at the office the other day I noticed this new Childrens consignment shop, One Fish Two Fish Old Fish New Fish, in my husbands old store space at 741 S. 4th Street (two blocks south of South street). You know that this mom loves a bargain and couldn’t pass by without taking a look and I have to say I LOVE IT!!! They sell Childrens clothing, furniture, toys and accessories. While there I got this amazing deal on a Step2 Push Around Buggy for $17!!!. I saved myself over 20 Bucks! Woohoo!! Follow them on Facebook for their latest updates! I met the manager while there and she was more than helpful. She gave me the whole shpeal on selling and buying and I couldn’t have been more happy after leaving. Hours are Tues.-Fri 10am-6pm, Sat 12:30-5:30, Mondays CLOSED. Who knows maybe you’ll see me in there! One Fish Two Fish Old Fish New Fish is absolutely Sealed with Approval by Baby-Mommablog!

The Pull-Ups Potty Dance

As most of you have read and heard, I am working on Potty Training Isabella right now. It has seriously been the most difficult thing I have experienced as a parent thus far. Recently, I was one of the lucky bloggers asked to join a conference call to talk about Potty Training. Jen Singer, Potty Training Expert (blogger at Mamasaid.net) and Ralph Covert (Grammy nominated musician and founder of Ralph’s World) the man responsible for the “New” and improved version of the Potty Dance, were on the call to answer our questions and give tips about Potty Training our little ones. I have used this product since day 1 of Isabella being born! Munchkin Deluxe Bottle Brush has been a necessity when cleaning Isabella’s bottles and now cups. It has been suctioned to my sink next to the soap for 2 years now :p I use it about 4 or 5 times a day so I would say it’s a necessity! This product has two brushes all in one. The nipple brush stores inside the bottom of the brush and the suction cup sits upright making drying easy and no wet counter tops! Brushes come in a variety of color for all gender’s! ** Note: Moms who breastfeed this is good for you too. I breastfed Isabella for 8-9 months and always used a bottle when on the go. This will be a necessity when you get home and need to clean that bottle.
